Product Selection Guide
Choose Marine Submersible Tile Adhesive when:
- Installing tiles in swimming pools, spas, fountains, water tanks, steam rooms, or permanently wet environments.
- Long-term resistance to continuous water exposure is essential.
- Fixing porcelain, vitrified, ceramic, granite, marble, or natural stone tiles in submerged applications.
- Superior flexibility and bond strength are required for demanding aquatic projects.
For bonding metal, glass, timber, PVC, aluminium, or other dissimilar materials, use SuperbLastick Polyurethane Adhesive.
Engineered to Perform Where Water Never Stops
Most tile adhesives are designed to resist occasional moisture. Marine is engineered for places where water is a permanent part of the environment.
Beverly Hills Marine Submersible Tile Adhesive is a premium, high-polymer, highly deformable cementitious adhesive specially formulated for fixing ceramic, vitrified, porcelain, granite, marble, and natural stone tiles in permanently wet and submerged applications.
Its superior bond strength, exceptional water resistance, high flexibility, and extended open time help create long-lasting tile installations that can withstand continuous water exposure, temperature changes, and demanding service conditions.
Whether it’s a swimming pool, spa, fountain, water tank, or luxury wellness area, Marine delivers dependable performance where ordinary tile adhesives are not designed to perform.

Mixing Instructions
- Add approximately 5.0–5.2 litres of clean water to one 20 kg bag.
- Mix thoroughly using a slow-speed mechanical mixer until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved.
- Allow the mixture to stand for 3–5 minutes, then remix briefly before use.
- Do not add additional water after the adhesive begins to set.
Application Procedure
Step 1 – Surface Preparation
Ensure the substrate is structurally sound, fully cured, clean, and free from dust, grease, laitance, curing compounds, or loose particles. Waterproofing systems should be completely cured and approved before tile installation.
Step 2 – Mixing
Prepare the adhesive using the recommended water ratio until a smooth, homogeneous consistency is achieved.
Step 3 – Adhesive Application
Apply the adhesive evenly using a suitable notched trowel.
Back-buttering is strongly recommended for large-format tiles, porcelain slabs, and natural stone to achieve maximum adhesive contact.
Step 4 – Tile Installation
Press each tile firmly with a sliding motion to eliminate air pockets and ensure nearly full adhesive coverage. Use spacers and levelling systems where required.
Step 5 – Curing
Allow the adhesive and grout to cure completely before filling the pool, fountain, or water feature with water.
Best Practices
✓ Waterproof the substrate before tile installation.
✓ Achieve almost 100% adhesive coverage in submerged applications.
✓ Back-butter large tiles and stone.
✓ Follow the recommended curing period before water filling.
✓ Use a high-performance waterproof grout for joints.
Avoid These Mistakes
✗ Filling the pool before complete curing.
✗ Installing over damp or uncured waterproofing.
✗ Leaving voids beneath tiles.
✗ Using ordinary tile adhesive in submerged areas.
✗ Ignoring expansion and movement joints.
💡 Pro Tip
A swimming pool is only as reliable as the system beneath the tile. For long-term performance, use a complete installation system comprising a quality waterproofing membrane, Marine Submersible Tile Adhesive, and a high-performance waterproof grout. Proper curing before filling the pool is just as important as choosing the right adhesive.
